There may be periodic inspections which will be announced prior to inspections. These inspections are to determine any damages in the apartment. Often quarterly, filter changes and alarm equipment testing may be coordinated during this time as well to minimize disturbance. If damage beyond normal wear and tear is found there will be charges assessed. Also, each month, units are exterminated by a professional extermination company. Devonshire’s policy is to be aggressive on extermination in order to prevent issues.  We do not believe in waiting until an issue occurs.  Consequently, if the exterminator flags units that are not maintaining a certain level of sanitary protocol then we will take measures to bring those units into compliance.

We strongly recommend that all residents purchase renters insurance from their local agency to cover any losses from such causes. This normally is relatively inexpensive (as low as $30/month), and can be found locally as well as nationally.  You can contact your management office for more information.
